In the half-ruined streets of Istanbul in the year 2047, a dystopian world controlled by the state's "Time Corridor" project has been established. The state allows selected citizens to go back in time and "correct mistakes"; however, this is actually a trap set to eliminate the regime's enemies. Emir Yıldız is a young Turk who can travel through time thanks to a device he found in his father's secret laboratory after his father, a former physics professor, was killed in the "Time Corridor" project. Emir returns to the past to avenge his father, but each intervention makes the future even darker.
Emir's journey begins in Istanbul, but quickly intersects with clandestine resistance cells in London, Tokyo, and Berlin. Mira Kowalski, a hacker and time smuggler who escaped from Warsaw; Takeshi Sato, a former soldier living in Tokyo seeking atonement for a past crime; and Elena Voss, a double agent working within the regime in Berlin but secretly leaking information to the resistance—all are connected to Emir's fate. Each character harbors dark secrets from their past, and none are exactly what they seem.
The biggest twist in the story is that Emir's father didn't actually die; instead, he was the mastermind behind the regime and deliberately raised Emir as a "puppet." Emir's entire revenge is, in fact, a test to strengthen the system his father established. In the final episode, Emir makes one last time travel to stop his father, but this time he sees his own infancy in the past and is forced to make a choice: destroy himself and break the time loop, or allow the system to continue. Emir sacrifices himself—but in the final scene, he awakens in a different time, in a different body. The system has continued; revenge is an illusion; and the unhappy ending is, in fact, a never-ending cycle.
